I mwcqflavonoli sono composti di origine vegetale appartenenti alla classe dei mwcgflavonoidi, aventi come base il 3-idrossimwcwflavone. Sono distribuiti molto ampiamente nel mwdaregno vegetale, generalmente in mwdqangiosperme lignificate.

Tra i mwdwflavonoli più diffusi vi sono la mweaquercetina (aglicone del mweqglicoside mwegrutina) e il quercitolo che sono presenti in mwfamwfqRuta graveolens, mwfgmwfwFagopyrum esculentum, mwgamwgqSambucus nigra e moltissime altre piante; il canferolo che si trova in mwgwSambucus nigra, mwhamwhqCassia senna, mwhgmwhwEquisetum arvense, mwiamwiqLamium album, mwigmwiwPolygonum bistorta, ecc.
